Ahh, Sports! Some people love to compete, others like to just have fun with friends and others like to watch in the pub with a nice pint. Sports, in my eyes, is an amazing thing that brings people together. It surpasses gender, age, race, nationality and much more.
I cover many different sports but I'm currently shooting plenty of Kayaking/canoeing. I covered the 2008 Junior liffey descent, Liffey Descent 2008 and plan on covering the 50th Liffey Descent which is planned for September 5th 2009. Along with being a Level 4 kayaker, a trainee Level 3 Kayak Instructor, I am also a qualified Swiftwater Rescue Technicial and have a Rec3 qualification (Rescue and Emergency Care Level 3) - so I'm very comfortable taking close up photos from in the water!
